Optimizing one-to-one marketing by understanding consumer channels and preferences.

It’s no surprise that most teens prefer SMS or Facebook when communicating with friends, but who knew that 8% of those over 65 use SMS and 4% subscribe to social networks? Yet, messaging preferences do not seem to map to marketing preferences. For example, 62% of teens prefer to receive promotions via email and only 1% prefers SMS.
